A Website for Independent Optometrists in Cincinnati
Madeira Optical is an independent optometry practice on Miami Avenue in Cincinnati, Ohio, and its site marks 70 years as an independent practice. Optometric Director Dr. Malinda Pence works with associate optometrists Dr. Katelyn Fleischman and Dr. Christie Francia, providing family eye care, pediatric eye exams, myopia management, scleral lens fittings and dry eye treatment.
Independence is central to how Madeira Optical presents itself, with care decisions made for patients rather than by corporate rules. We built the website to carry that message, introducing the doctors by name on the homepage and giving the clinical side of the practice and its optical boutique of designer frames equal space.

The homepage moves from the doctors to patient reviews, then into pediatric optometry and a set of family eye care services, each with a short explanation. The myopia management section, for example, names the treatments the practice offers, from specialty eyeglass lenses and multifocal contacts to low-dose atropine drops and orthokeratology. A principles section explains what independent, patient-focused care means to the practice.
Patients who already know what they need can go straight to it. The header holds links to order contacts, the patient portal, booking and a click-to-call number, and the main menu covers the optometric team, services, eyeglasses, contact lenses, insurance, the blog and hours. An online contact lens shop lets patients have contacts delivered to their home.

Many patients reorder contacts or book an exam from a phone. The site is responsive across devices, and the Book an Appointment button and the Call (513) 561-7076 link stay in the header, so scheduling a visit or calling the Miami Avenue office takes one tap.
