A Website for a Racetrack Surgery Practice

Morgan Equine Surgery and Sports Medicine is an equine veterinary practice that Dr. Joe Morgan started in 2017. He is board-certified by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons. The practice works mostly with racehorses in Lexington, Kentucky, at Keeneland and the Thoroughbred Training Center, and it also serves Turfway Park, Churchill Downs and other Kentucky training venues.

Owners and trainers usually know a racetrack vet from the barn before they ever visit a website. We built the Morgan Equine site to match that world, with racing imagery, Dr. Morgan's background up front and testimonials from racing operations, so a trainer checking out the practice sees a vet who works where their horses do.

Website
Crafted
For You

The site is written for the owners and trainers of equine athletes. The homepage introduces the team and its place in the racing industry, lists core services and features testimonials from racing operations, including a racing manager who has used Dr. Morgan since 2020. The About page traces his path from Ohio State through an equine surgery residency and five years at Southern California racetracks.

Services are listed plainly so a trainer can confirm what the practice handles, including lameness evaluations, endoscopy, digital radiology, sales evaluations, ultrasonography, pre-purchase examinations, orthopedic surgery and upper airway surgery. Office and cell numbers and an email address sit at the bottom of each page, and a section on externships and internships invites people interested in joining the team to reach out.

Any Device

Trainers and owners spend their days at the barn or the track, away from a desk. The site is responsive on every screen, and the Schedule A Free Consultation button sits right at the top of the homepage, with the office and cell numbers a short scroll away.

At The
Track

The photography follows the daily rhythm of a racing barn, with horses galloping on the training track at dawn, a horse being washed down after work and a portrait of the surgeon. It places the site in the same tracks and barns where Dr. Morgan sees his patients, a setting his clients know well.
