A Website for Veterinarians Who Follow the Circuit
Foxwood Equine Sports Medicine is an equine veterinary practice owned by veterinarians Holly Schmitt and Heather Woodruff, with locations in Lexington, Wellington, Ocala, Tryon and Traverse City. The team works with equine athletes and the people who own and ride them, offering acupuncture, lameness exams, pre-purchase exams, digital radiography, ultrasonography and preventative care.
We designed and built the Foxwood website around the way the practice talks about its work. The practice makes a point of keeping clients educated and part of every decision about their horses, so the site explains services in plain terms, introduces each veterinarian by name and gives owners an easy way to ask questions or schedule an appointment.
Website
Crafted
For You
Acupuncture is a big part of what sets Foxwood apart, so it gets its own section on the homepage, covering the musculoskeletal, behavioral, reproductive and medical issues it can treat. Below that, a services overview lists each exam and imaging option, and a team section links to full profiles. Client testimonials from riders and farm owners rotate through the page.
Owners who need something practical can find it without digging. A Client Resources section points to forms, the USEF medical guidelines and an online pharmacy for medical supplies. A Pay Now button sits in the header and footer, and the contact section lists the phone number, office hours, weekend appointment policy and a short form.
Built For
Any Device
Foxwood's clients are often at a barn or a show grounds when they need a vet, with a phone in hand and little time. The site is responsive on every screen size, and the Call Us Today button and Pay Now link stay easy to reach from any page.
In The Barn,
On The Road
The site uses real photos of the Foxwood veterinarians in place of stock images. The hero shows one of the team treating a horse with acupuncture in the barn, and individual portraits of the three veterinarians, each in a Foxwood shirt, introduce the people owners will actually meet when an appointment is booked.
